Funny&Interesting U.S.

I have listed some of the things that have happened/ are just cool facts about me being here:

One morning me n' Nick were the first ones in Mrs.Huff's class. When the teacher came in I was joking as I said: 'Mrs.Huff, I feel like I need chocolate today.' 2 seconds later Mrs.Huff gave me a brownie and smiled 'Here you go sweetie.' I would say if it starts off like that, it really is gonna be a good day.
Couple of days later everybody already saw that Mrs.Huff was in a good mood. She was talking to the class n' suddenly looked at me: ''Why are you giving me that look?'' So I asked ''Who me?'' - ''Yea you, you need a peanut butter jelly?'' And she threw me a protein bar to me. yai!
Teachers are more easygoing. Nobody really cares how you sit in the class or what you do. For example one time we were watching a movie in Forensics, and Cody decided to move on the floor and do all his notes there.. + Teachers compliment students A LOT whenever they have a cute outfit or jewelry or something. I think it's really cool!
One night, Keller was under tornado watch. I woke up like 2:30am. Adriana was telling me that mom is probably gonna be behind our door in a second and tell us to go to the bathroom. I didn't even realize these really loud sirens over the city because I was still half asleep. So I was VERY confused when mom actually knocked on our door. My only thought was 'How the heck did Adriana know she's gonna be here' haha. Me, Adriana and Dardan sat in the bathroom for about 10 minutes until the sirens went off n' we heard from outside that there is no danger anymore. The thunderstorm and lightning were really strong, we were lying on Adriana's bed for a while and then I went back to my bed. In the morning there were several trees broken and trampolines that had flown away.
Yesterday at a Nail Salong, the guy who was doing my nails was talking to the ladies who were doing Adriana's nails something in their own language. Later he looked at me asking did you understand? When I said no, he answered ''They said you really look like a celebrity from our country!'' - wow haha!
Although I literally told in front of my Forensics class where I am from, half of the class still thinks I am from Poland..
Everybody dresses the same in school. If in Estonia you would feel uncomfortable when somebody is wearing for example same shoes as you, then here all the girls wear same shoes, shirts, basically same outfits.
A little bit about the language: I can't think in Estonian anymore. Not even kidding haha, I don't know how to do it. This is also the reason why I am suddenly writing my blog in English - it is so much more easier. I still skype every Sunday, but even then I use so many words in English. One time one of my friends from Estonia told me I was speaking with an accent...oh well lol(It was just some word I said tho..). I have no problem typing in Estonian as I still talk to my friends, but it's still not the same.
A year ago, USA was the country I was dreaming about. Like, I knew I'm gonna be here, but I never really thought that it would be real and I would actually be here talking to these people. Fun fact is that this is exactly how I feel about Estonia right now. It feels so far away. Not only meaning the distance, but so far in the past. I can't really imagine I am actually gonna see everybody again in few months, it feels so surreal.

4/19/17 so today was Wrestling Banquet. Since it wasn't exactly my event, I am not gonna describe what was going on there etc. I'm gonna let you guys discover it through the pictures instead, enjoy! :)

Scarborough Fair&Easter

Scarborough Fair, What's that?

It's a Renaissance Festival which takes place every year in April and May, at the same place where we went to the Hunted House in October. My Hostfamily participates there every year as well and also dresses up every time. They usually go all 8 weekends, on Saturday. Basically being there you kind a feel like it's actually Renaissance time period, because people are very creative with their costumes. It's like a little Village or city there, which includes a lot of food places, clothing&craft stores and many stages with different half-hour shows. It's also fun for the kids, there are animals, you have a opportunity to ride with an elephant and camel, also there are plenty of activities and games which are really fun. At noon there is a short parade and after that everybody just spends time there.

What have my past two weekends been like?

I have been going there for last two Saturdays and both times it has been awesome. I kind a had similar outfits both days(There's gonna be a picture of that at the end, I think..well maybe). First time I was just thinking the whole day that 'wow how cool it is', like literally haha. We saw the Juggling show, which was really cool as it was my first time seeing that and my favorite show was an improv comedy by Motley Players. Every show they do is obviously different because it's improvised, so it is always a lot of fun and I laughed so much. The players were all so funny. Haha lol first time we were there, we got there pretty early and sat in the back. The guy how was leading the show told us to come closer to the stage(It was a really small area tho), what me and my Hostmom did, but Adriana refused to. But she did end up next to us...one of the players literally carried her couple of rows closer haha. Last Saturday it was mostly me and Adriana just walking around there, at some point we got so tired, we actually stayed after the Motley Players show to watch a dogshow(meant for little kids) just because we were too tired to stand up...Highlight's of the Fair were definitely Motley Players, FOOD, and The Lotion Guy(There was a guy working in that one shop, and WOW how cute he was!!! haha) So both of these Saturdays I spent at the Faire and it was so much fun, I am glad I got to go!

Easter is already over!?!?

For Easter we had a four-day-weekend, so we got Friday and Monday off. It was also the end of 6-weeks so we have only one more grading period left!!! Awesome. On Thursday we went to Church, we were there about an hour. They reenacted the Jesus' crucification which was really cool! And all the songs they sang were so pretty! We also went to Church on Sunday. I like going to the Church here, it is completely different here. After Church we had a dinner at Central Market, there was a restaurant where I had never been to, it was sooo good!!!
On Friday I hung out with Nick and Hailey. Nick picked me up about 3:30pm after what we picked up Hailey and went to Grapevine Mills. We ate and did some shopping for few hours. It was so much fun haha. It wasn't my day AT ALL. I broke so many things, dropped everything I was holding all the time and just wasn't the brightest lol...I got back at like 7pm and spent the rest of the night watching movies.
On Sunday, first of all we woke up too late. We were supposed to go to Church at 9am, we woke up 9:20am...We got ready with like 15 minutes and before we left, we had to find 24 chocolate eggs that 'Easter Bunny' had hidden in the Living Room. We were really struggling with the last ones haha. Each of us also got an Easter Basket full of Candy, it was cool! When we got back from Church, we had a nice Brunch with everybody and had a dinner at Panera Bread with my Hostmom, Granny and Adriana. And Monday we kind a just spent watching movies/sleeping/doing nothing.
